CULTURE AND HERITAGE PROGRAM – NOW CLOSED
The Kokatha Charitable Trust made available the sum of $60,000, for the financial year (July 2020- June 2021) to be distributed to Kokatha People as part of the Culture and Heritage Program.
The aim of the program was to provide Kokatha individuals with financial support to participate in activities that promote cultural heritage, traditional ceremonial activities, preservation of Kokatha knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of the Kokatha traditions, culture, heritage, and the environment.
There was an application process put in place, a maximum of $1000 available per individual, and the funds allocated provided support to cover expenses incurred in participating in such activities..
This program has proven to be a success with many applicants being supported since the start of the current financial year. As a result of the interest in this program the total funds of $60,000 that was allocated has now been exhausted and no funds are now available.
This program has now closed and shall re-open once more funds become available.
