Thank you to all members of the Kokatha community and other local Aboriginal community groups who have assisted KAC in developing a report for the Lake Torrens Investigator. 

This report will be considered by Sussan Ley, the Federal Minister of Environment  in reviewing the decision of the Aboriginal Affairs and Premier to allow mining exploration on Lake Torrens.

We are pleased to further advise that Adnyamathanha Traditional Lands Association (ATLA) have requested that the investigator extend the reporting period for Aboriginal representation on this matter. KAC has provided support for this request.

We look forward to continuing to work collaboratively with all Aboriginal groups for whom Lake Torrens ins a place of significance to ensure Aboriginal Heritage protection.
