Cancellation of exclusion period – Amber Zone 1
The Department of Defence is cancelling the exclusion period in the Woomera Prohibited Area for Amber Zone 1 that was scheduled from 20 July 2020 to 30 August 2020 inclusive.
Permit holders will no longer be required to evacuate the Amber Zone 1 area during this period. Standard access conditions continue to apply for the WPA.
Some areas within the WPA also require separate access permission from Traditional Owners and conservation parks. Please refer to the information at: www.defence.gov.au/woomera/permits.htm

Exclusion periods to the end of June 2021 for Amber Zone 1 and 2 remain in force:
The following Amber Zone 1 exclusion periods remain in force:
5 November 2020 to 9 December 2020 inclusive
8 March 2021 to 9 May 2021 inclusive
The following Amber Zone 2 exclusion periods remain in force:
19 November 2020 to 9 December 2020 inclusive
22 March 2021 to 11 April 2021 inclusive
