A big thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy this year’s Port Augusta Christmas Pageant!
The community spirit was amazing and the quality of floats was exceptional. Well done to all the organisations who took part.
Kokatha Aboriginal Corporation was proud to tie in second place, alongside Port Augusta Calisthenics Club Inc, for our bush animals themed float.
The kids all looked great in their Kokatha tops, designed by the talented Ayana Reid and it was fantastic to see the Kokatha Mining Services truck, with its colourful artwork by Kokatha artist Presten Warren.
Congratulations to all the children, parents, and staff — Shonelle, Leah, Jess R, Jess G, Erika, Anthony, and Nigel — for bringing the Kokatha float to life.
Special mention to Johnston Withers Lawyers, for generously allowing us to use their facilities again this year.
