Kokatha Mining Services is a subsidiary of the Kokatha Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (ICN 8093) and provides capability to mining companies through its general mining and civil works, plant, equipment and labour hire services.
Kokatha Mining Services is recruiting earthmoving equipment operators for a road maintenance contract for OZ Minerals at the Carrapateena Mine.
The Plant operator (Roller) position requires;
- Essential – HR licence, Roller ticket
- Desirable – Work Zone Traffic Management Ticket (or willingness to obtain)
- General skills include basic mathematics, legible handwriting and attention to detail
Kokatha Mining Services supports the development of individuals and the concept of multi-skilling. Other duties may include general road maintenance by operating other earthmoving equipment, general labouring duties associated with maintenance of roadside infrastructure, use of traffic control signage and management of traffic movements throughout the worksite.
The roles are not gender specific and Kokatha men and women are encouraged to apply. You should be well presented and courteous, have a reasonable level of physical fitness, be proactive, reliable and punctual. Previous experience working in remote areas and living away from home will be well regarded.
