In a major milestone for Kokatha Pastoral (KP), the permanent mains water pipeline has officially reached Roxby Downs Station.
This marks the completion of a 40km pipeline project, running all the way from Woomera Range Head to Roxby Downs Station.
The new mains water supply will provide year-round potable water for KP staff, reducing reliance on rainfall-dependent dams, which is where the water is currently sourced from.
The permanent potable water supply will also support future growth for the KP stations, including the Kokatha ranger program.

Special mention to the KP crew who completed a poly welding course, gaining the skills to help lay the pipeline. Their effort and commitment have played a key role in delivering this essential infrastructure.
