Here’s a little bit about the leaders guiding KAC forward.
Chairperson: Nyani ThomasNyani is committed to protecting and advancing the rights and aspirations of Kokatha People.
Known for his calm and steady approach, he places strong emphasis on good governance, cultural responsibility and long-term thinking.
Nyani is focused on ensuring decisions are transparent, accountable and always guided by Kokatha values.
He is passionate about strengthening the Corporation, building unity and creating opportunities for current and future generations.
Deputy Chairperson: Glen WingfieldGlen has been part of Kokatha’s journey since the early days and has helped shape the Corporation into the strong organisation it is today.
He brings extensive experience in business decision-making, community development and major negotiations.
As a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Glen has completed formal governance training and continues to champion strong, stable leadership.
His long-standing knowledge of KAC, its members and stakeholders makes him a valued part of the leadership team.
