Kokatha Aboriginal Corporation (KAC) leaders were honoured to attend a celebration of our partner organisation Arid Recovery at Government House this week.
The event was hosted by Her Excellency, the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia, who toured Kokatha Country earlier this year.
KAC Chairperson Carly Chamberlain, Deputy Chair Chereena Amos, Heritage Services Manager Glen Wingfield, Kokatha Enterprise Chairperson Aaron Thomas and Kokatha Elder Dr. Roger Thomas attended the celebration, with Dr. Thomas also sharing an Acknowledgement of Country.
Arid Recovery works on Kokatha Country and signed an MoU with KAC last year in recognition of the two organisations’ shared values around knowledge, education and stewardship.
