Consultation on the exposure draft of the CATSI Amendment Bill closed at 9.00am last Monday, 9 August 2021.  

Feedback was sought in relation to those parts of the legislation that were supported as well as those parts where there were concerns in relation to the practical barriers to implementation. The NIAA was also interested in feedback on the clarity, readability and complexity of the draft legislation.

Participation was positive –  15 open forum virtual consultation sessions, held 5 targeted virtual consultation sessions and received 27 written submissions. These have been published on the NIAA website where allowed by privacy permissions.

A feedback summary report is being prepared and will be published on the NIAA website when available.
