Kokatha Aboriginal Corporation (KAC) is pleased to announce that the rollout of the new Community Assistance Program will begin on Monday 5 August 2024.

The program builds on the funding allocations that KAC members and Common Law Holders have accessed through the Kokatha Trusts. The Program will further support new Member Services activities that KAC aims to introduce over time, e.g. Kokatha business mentoring.

To make this change as smooth as possible, and to make sure all our community’s questions are answered as quickly as possible, we are partnering with Fordham Group, which is part of the Perpetual Trustees. Fordham Group will assist with Kokatha community communications and engagements in accessing KAC’s new Trusts and Member Services.

We ask that our community is patient during the rollout of the new Community Assistance Program, which will be staggered as per the dates below:

5 August – Business Support, Funerals and Memorials, Education Scholarship;

12 August – Specialist Health;

19 August – All remaining Health programs e.g. Optical, Dental, Personal Health, Healthy Homes and Ambulance Cover;

2 September – Cost of Living; and

9 September – Lore & Culture, Tuition, Uniforms, Technology, Sports, Music & Arts.

Please do not begin applying for funding until the listed opening date.
