Kokatha Mining Services (KMS) is offering an Apprentice Mechanic opportunity for someone ready to kickstart their career in diesel and heavy vehicle mechanics.
The successful applicant will work closely with our experienced mechanic, learning how to:
◾Service, repair and modify plant, equipment and motor vehicles.
◾Perform welding and fabrication.
◾Install and replace vehicle components like brakes and suspension systems.
◾Identify issues through basic vehicle inspections.
◾Follow safety procedures and work in a clean, organised environment.
◾Complete a Certificate III in Automotive Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
✅ Good communication and time management.
✅ Awareness of safety in high-risk work environments.
✅ Must be able to commit to full-time work and complete structured training.
Requirements:
📍 Current driver’s licence (essential).
📍 National Police Check or ability to obtain one (essential).
📍 Mechanical aptitude or basic knowledge of automotive systems (desirable).
